Purpose
Purpose
We learned from the Phobos I that we would need new manufacturing techniques to decrease the weight of the engine. Phobos II acts as a test bed for newer methods, to prove manufacturability. We also found that the Phobos I was too small for the propellant to burn fully before being ejected, so this engine has a longer aspect ratio for higher efficiency burns.
